Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all the team at Faversham Feet!

It’s been an incredible 6th year for us at Faversham Feet as the business has seen a lot of changes. We’ve had an astounding 300 new clients this year so far and we now have over 500 regular clients!

I’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our clients for putting your faith in me and my colleagues. We really do look forward to seeing every one of you and may our relationships, both personal and professional, continue for many more years to come.

Meet the Team!

There have been some changes to the team this year as we have welcomed Laura and Kat.

Laura is a qualified Foot Health Practitioner having gained her diploma with the SMAE Institute in January. She joined our team at the start of this year and has quickly built up her own set of regular clients. I’m especially proud of her as she’s my sister so it’s been fantastic to have her on board.

We’ve also welcomed Kat as a receptionist on Tuesdays. Some of you will have already come across this bright and bubbly new addition our new clinic. Kat is my stepdaughter, almost guaranteed to talk you to death, and we hope to have her in more regularly as the year progresses.

Mikala has been very busy this year, having increased her availability to allow us to offer more home visits where required. She’s been a Godsend to me as she’s given me the chance to spend more time in the clinic and allowed me to work on growing the business.

What’s happened this year?

The biggest change this year has been the opening of our new premises where the business has expanded to become Faversham Wellbeing! We now work closely with other health and wellbeing practitioners to bring you a one-stop centre for your needs.

Faversham Wellbeing is a collective of local small businesses, each bringing their own expertise to the table so that we are now able to offer a wider range of services. We currently have:

Faversham Feet – Foot Health Practitioners – We’re now a team of three – Gemma, Laura and Mikala – offering you routine foot care both in clinic and at home.

Easy Feet Podiatry – Lucy is a podiatrist offering enhanced foot care services such as nail surgery, Onyfix nail correction, Ostenil steroid injections and biomechanics.

Kent Wax Removal – Amy C is an ear wax specialist offering both irrigation and micro suction. She works closely with Whitstable Hearing and can provide advice on hearing tests and aids.

Martin File Osteopathy – Martin is an excellent osteopath, including cranial osteopathy. He also provides western medical acupuncture and sports massage.

Cryotherapy by Amy – Amy G is a Cryotherapist who specialises in the removal of warts, verrucae, age spots, skin tags and many more.

Vitamin Injections – We are now offering injections for B12, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Biotin, and Glutathione and will be offering Kenalog (Hayfever) from the spring. 

Retail – We now have a small retail area in our clinic selling a number of the products that we recommend. We have a great range of creams, medicaments and devices to help you keep your feet happy and healthy.

More to come… We’re also still on the lookout for other practitioners to join us so watch this space!

It’s also been another award winning year for us this year which has seen us attend both the Kent Women in Business Awards and the Kent Health and Beauty Awards where we received:

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank those who nominated me and to thank my team and clients, who without you, none of this would be possible.

2024 Prices…

As always, with the ever rising costs of running a business, it will be necessary to raise our prices, however, to keep this as fair as possible, there will be a slight change to the pricing structure for foot health treatments.

As of 1st January, prices will be as follows:

£45 for new clients, this is due to the extra time involved in assessing the feet and arranging a treatment plan.

£40 for standard clinic appointments, however, we are introducing a new appointment type for clients who only require a simple nail cut and file, these clients will remain at the current price of £35 and you will be informed by your practitioner if you qualify for this rate.

£45 for all home visits.

We will continue to offer the clinic rate for home visits with multiple clients so the charge will be £80 for a joint home visit.

A gentle reminder…

Please could I remind you all of the late cancellation policy. If you are unable to keep your appointment then please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a £20 fee. Missed appointments will be charged at the standard rate. That said, I do completely understand that there may be reasons beyond your control and your reasons will always be taken into consideration before a charge is applied.
